The Statue of Zeus at Olympia was a statue made by the Greek sculptor Phideas. It was a statue of a seated Zeus and is 43 ft tall. It had a wooden base covered in ivory and golden panels. It was created around 435 BC and lost and destroyed during 5th century AD.

The Mausoleum at Halicarnassus is also known as the Tomb of Mausolus. It was a tomb built for Mausolus between 353 and 350 BC. The Mausoleum at Halicarnassus was about 148 feet tall. The Greek sculptors Leochares, Bryaxis, Scopas of Paros and Timotheus each created one of the four sides adorned with sculptural reliefs. It was destroyed by earthquakes from the 12th century to the 15th century.
